"Psychiatry (Moscow)” journal was established in 2002 on the initiative of academician of RAS A.S. Tiganov. It has appeared since 2003. Since 2008 the journal has been included in “The list of peer reviewed scientific journals”, recommended for publication of the results of candidates and doctoral theses. Since 2012 the journal “Psychiatry (Moscow)” has become a part of the Russian Science Citation Index system.

The Journal functions on the basis of regulations, adopted in 2012, and is issued with the periodicity of 4 times per annum. The circulation is 1000 copies. The Journal is registered in the united catalogue “Russian Press” – index 91790. The Journal is spread on the territory of the Russian Federation both by subscription, and on complimentary basis.
